How we handle copyright infringement claims

Jovonk respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this Site to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

Required elements of a valid DMCA takedown notice:
1. Your physical or electronic signature (or that of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner)
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing include the specific URL
4. Your contact information (address, telephone number, email)
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

Please write “DMCA Notice” in the subject line. We will acknowledge receipt and take appropriate action within 10 business days.
3. Counter-Notification
If material you posted was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction
4. Repeat Infringers
We will terminate access for users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers, in accordance with our Terms of Use and applicable law.

Content published on Jovonk is original editorial content created by our team, or properly licensed material. When we quote from official sources (legislation, regulatory documents), we do so under fair use / fair dealing principles, with attribution and links to the original sources.
